Change is GOOD!
GOOD things are happening at Back Mountain Microgreens!
In March of this year, Luke and I made some BIG changes. We were only working a few feet away from each other, but we were worlds apart.
So, I quit doing the newsletter and our blog to be able to spend more time with Luke in the grow room.
It’s been great. Spending time together in what we’re doing, business-wise, has led us to get more and more on the same page.
Lately, it’s almost a little strange just how on-the-same-page we really are!
When an idea comes to one of us, more often than not, the other already had the same thing in mind!
Sharing the same thoughts has been crazy, really!
NOT AS CRAZY as Farmers’ Market Season, though!
Attending and growing for the Pittston, Wilkes-Barre, Back Mountain, and South-Side Scranton Farmers’ Markets is burning us out!
To the point where we’re both tossing around lots of new ideas about how to run our business. We value the opportunity the farmers’ markets provide… regarding building new customer relationships… but we’re a little concerned about what happens to those relationships once the markets end.
After dinner last night, Luke headed to the grow room while I washed the dishes. Multiple ideas flooded my mind while I was standing there.
When I shared one of my ideas in the grow room, Luke was 100% onboard!
I think he’s actually wanted this for quite a while, and it took me too long to come around!
FREE LOCAL DELIVERY &
NO ORDER MINIMUMS!
If you need microgreens to better your health, or dress up your plates, you no longer need to by four to have them delivered! We’ll deliver for FREE, locally of course, no matter how many you purchase, even if it’s just one.
The online checkout page has been updated to reflect the removal of the quantity restriction (previously a minimum order of four clamshells was required for free delivery) and if online ordering isn’t for you, call or text us your order and we’ll send you an invoice!
This is a huge and exciting change for us! We can’t wait to meet you on your front porch!
We used to offer free local delivery on orders that were $20.00 or more
Now, we’re scrapping that mentality. Three things brought this all home for me:
Lots of you are only interested in purchasing one or two clams at a time.
We’re hearing that Hillside is often sold out of the items you love.
We hear that the four-clamshells-at-a-time thing just doesn’t work for you.
The way around these issues is letting you order what you’d like and offering home deliveries as a thank you for your order.
So, we’re changing, and it’s all for your benefit!
Go ahead! Browse our store. Place an order! Hope to see you Friday when we’re out doing deliveries!
